Job Description
What’s cool about this job:
You will be working on an energetic and dynamic Sport Programming Team. This team prides itself on creating the absolute best experience for the youth within our space, and puts our “Youth First, Always” value at the core of its work. As a Leader-In-Training (LIT), you will be provided with 1 week of paid training at MLSE LaunchPad and will receive certifications to prepare you for the work this summer and beyond! Following the week of training, you will embark on a 7-week job placement with MLSE LaunchPad to participate in and deliver in-person programming.

Full-time (30-40rs/week) for 8 weeks in Summer 2026
What you’ll be doing:
- Helping to design, organize, and run in-person MLSE LaunchPad summer programs
- Ensuring that all activities are age appropriate and FUN!
- Making a positive impact in the community through coaching and facilitating
- Making sure programs run smoothly each day by arriving prepared, following lesson plans, and working cooperatively with the rest of the team
- Communicating with MLSE LaunchPad staff regarding program needs and improvements
You’re a great fit for this job if:
- You are between the ages of 15-18 as of June 26, 2026
- You are able to obtain parent or guardian consent if under 18
- You are currently enrolled in high school and intending to stay in, or return to high school or access post-secondary education at the end of the contract
- You are available to work varied shifts between the hours of 8:30am – 9:00pm, Monday to Friday from June 26 – August 21, 2026
- You have a passion for working with youth in a sport setting
- You have a positive attitude!

MLSE LaunchPad is a 42,000 sq. ft. Sport For Development facility where youth facing barriers use sport to recognize and reach their potential. Supported by MLSE’s professional sports teams- the Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Raptors, Toronto Argonauts and Toronto FC, it is the first facility of its kind in North America.
