Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Cost Estimator to support the development and analysis of cost estimates across various project stages. This role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals with strong analytical and technical skills who thrive in collaborative, fast-paced industrial project environments.

  • Location: Calgary, AB (travel to other sites may be required)

  • Shift: Monday- Friday | 8 hours a day

  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time | 1-year contract

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of cost estimates for all D&MP (Decision & Management Process) stages under supervision.

  • Analyze and compare estimate components and metrics using internal and external benchmarks.

  • Contribute to the end-to-end estimating process, including preparation of estimate basis documents and presentations.

  • Assist in developing benchmarking bundles for multiple project stages.

  • Participate in all corporate training programs as required for the position.

  • Travel to project sites (overnight) as needed to support estimating and field activities.

Qualifications:

  • Technical Diploma or University Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

  • 2–5 years of experience preparing cost estimates for industrial projects.

  • Exposure to field construction activities in industrial environments.

  • Familiarity with AspenTech (K-Base) estimating software is an asset.

  • Strong analytical ability to evaluate and benchmark estimates.

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).

  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to meet deadlines and support team deliverables

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
