Adecco is currently hiring an HR Generalist for a full-time, 6-month contract position in Langley, BC. This opportunity is ideal for a confident and hands-on HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is comfortable operating as the sole HR representative on-site.
As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations, supporting recruitment, and acting as the primary point of contact for employees and leadership. You will play a key role in maintaining HR processes, supporting performance management, and ensuring smooth HR operations across the organization.
Pay Rate: $60,000 – $70,000 annually
Location: Langley, BC (fully onsite)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Contract: Temporary (6 months)

Responsibilities:
Manage full-cycle recruitment for a variety of roles, including partnering with hiring managers on staffing needs and onboarding
Act as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries from employees and management
Support performance management processes and assist with disciplinary meetings led by Operations
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files and HR documentation
Oversee timecard management and collaborate with the Controller for payroll coordination
Maintain and support existing HR systems, including ADP HRIS for administration and recordkeeping
Ensure smooth day-to-day HR operations in a standalone capacity
Build strong relationships across the organization and support a collaborative workplace culture
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, warehousing, or production environments
Strong educational background in Human Resources may be considered with slightly less experience
Proven ability to work independently in a standalone HR role
Comfortable managing multiple HR functions in a fast-paced environment
Professional, approachable, and able to build trust quickly with employees and leadership
Experience with ADP HRIS or similar systems is an asset
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Must be legally authorized to work and reside in Canada.
