Adecco is currently hiring several full-time General Laborers as packaging associates within a fast-paced manufacturing environment for our client in Brampton, ON. This role is ideal for detail-oriented individuals who takes pride in quality workmanship, follows procedures closely, and enjoys working as part of a team.

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring finished products are accurately inspected, packaged, labeled, and prepared for shipment while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

  • Pay Rate: $19.50/hour

  • Location: Brampton, ON

  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Package finished products according to established specifications and customer requirements.

  • Inspect materials for defects and promptly report quality concerns to the appropriate team members.

  • Prioritize packaging activities based on production schedules and shipping deadlines.

  • Verify and document product measurements, specifications, weights, and quantities.

  • Ensure order counts and packaging details are accurate before shipment.

  • Complete required production, packaging, and inventory records.

  • Generate and apply product labels and shipping documentation using company systems.

  • Maintain compliance with all quality standards, procedures, and operational requirements.

  • Use hand tools and basic equipment to assemble and prepare shipping skids and packaging materials.

  • Assist in training and supporting new team members as needed.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

  • Follow all workplace health and safety regulations, company policies, and safe work practices

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in packaging, warehousing, shipping, receiving, or a related production environment.

  • Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced production setting is considered an asset.

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Ability to work efficiently while meeting production targets and deadlines.

  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills.

  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when required.

  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices within a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience using hand tools and assembly equipment is an asset.

  • Reliable, dependable, and committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy.

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
