Adecco is currently hiring Production / Assembly Workers for full-time temporary opportunities in Scarborough, ON. If you have experience in production, assembly, or quality control and enjoy hands-on work, this could be a great opportunity to join a busy and supportive production team.

In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, inspecting, and packaging products while ensuring quality standards, safety procedures, and production targets are consistently met.

  • Pay Rate: $17.60/hour (Day Shift) | $18.60/hour (Afternoon Shift)

  • Location: Scarborough, ON

  • Schedule: Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Afternoon Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM

  • Employment Type: Temporary Full-Time

Responsibilities

  • Perform peeling, sorting, cutting, packing, and gluing tasks in a fast-paced production environment.

  • Conduct quality inspections and separate defective products.

  • Pack finished products accurately and prepare them for shipment.

  • Assemble components and sub-assemblies according to specifications and procedures.

  • Read and follow work instructions, drawings, and established manufacturing processes.

  • Collect required materials and equipment before beginning production tasks.

  • Take precision measurements to ensure proper fit and alignment of components.

  • Operate tools and manufacturing equipment to assemble units efficiently.

  • Test and calibrate parts and assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards.

  • Repair or adjust components that do not meet specifications when required.

  • Maintain accurate daily production and assembly records.

  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.

  • Report equipment issues, safety hazards, or quality concerns promptly.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation at all times.

  • Follow all safety protocols and properly use required PPE.

Qualifications

  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

  • Previous experience in a production or assembly environment is required.

  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions, drawings, and basic blueprints.

  • Experience using hand tools and basic manufacturing equipment.

  • Strong attention to detail and understanding of quality control principles.

  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.

  • Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift/move materials as required.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Willingness to learn new processes and adapt to changing production needs.

  • High school diploma required (technical education is an asset).
