Adecco is currently hiring a full-time skilled Electrician to support facilities maintenance and repair operations. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing building systems and electrical equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation across all facilities.

Responsibilities:

·       Perform preventative, corrective, and reactive maintenance on facilities, equipment, and infrastructure

·       Execute repairs and support small project work as required

·       Troubleshoot electrical systems and diagnose issues effectively

·       Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics to complete maintenance and repair tasks

·       Work collaboratively with the Lead Hand Electrician, Facilities Supervisor, contractors, and vendors

·       Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and regulations

·       Support continuous improvement initiatives within facilities maintenance

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Valid Driver’s License (or willingness to obtain)

  • Strong ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical drawings

  • Solid working knowledge of power distribution systems and emergency power systems, including high voltage

  • Proven commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or within a team

·       Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada

 

Working Conditions

  • Required to respond to emergency calls, including nights and weekends

  • Work performed both indoors and outdoors in varying weather and conditions

  • Exposure to heights, confined spaces, and industrial environments

  • Occasional travel or extended time away from home may be required

  • Must be available for overtime as needed

  • Role involves regular interaction with multiple departments—strong customer service mindset is essential
