Adecco is currently hiring several temporary full-time positions as
Event Staff for the Cirque du Soleil show in Toronto, ON.  We are looking for dynamic people who are passionate about customer service, friendly and personable who have a keen eye for detail and thrive working in a fast-paced environment.  In this role you will play a vital role in creating unforgettable experiences.

  • Pay Rate: $19.00/hour

  • Location: Toronto, ON

  • Shift: 2 hours prior to the beginning of the show until the second part of the last show. Hours will vary. Until the end of the show | 5 days a week (subject to change according to the show schedule)

  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

  • Vacancy Status: This posting is for an existing vacancy.

Responsibilities:

  • Have up-sell and sales experience

  • Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate

  • Collect payments, whether in cash or credit

  • Redeem coupons

  • Cross-sell products and introduce new ones

  • Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information

  • Greet customers when entering or leaving the merchandise area

  • Maintain clean and tidy checkout area

  • Bag, box or gift-wrap packages

  • Handle merchandise returns and exchanges

  • Assertive and competent selling of concession products around the front-of-site and inside the big top.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Possess the ability to learn a point-of-sale system and retain the information

  • Be comfortable working in a loud environment

  • Have a professional, clean appearance

  • Be physically able to stand up for long hours

  • Understand customer service and hospitality

  • Work well with others

  • Pay attention to the details

  • Working fast and efficiently under pressure

  • Have a welcoming and friendly attitude (smile and proper greetings)

  • Know when to get the help of a supervisor

  • Availability for the whole city duration

  • Speak English – other languages are an asset.

  • Possession of ServeSafe and/or food safety certificates 

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
