Job Description

What is the Opportunity?

You will provide support to a team that helps our DS Investment Advisors, PH&N Investment Counsellors, and our clients with support for servicing of in-force policies and new business processes. Your role on the team is to assist with servicing & maintaining our existing clients along with promote business growth for a two successful Estate Planning Specialist.

What will you do?

  • Support Inforce servicing and respond to requests including, Inforce illustrations, cash surrender values, premium payment confirmation, all general/policy inquiries from Investment advisors & clients
  • Review all documentation and correspondence filing procedures and ensure an organized system is in place
  • Ensure client inquiries and any problems are responded to in a timely manner and that all activity is recorded in a contact management system.
  • Identify and put forward ideas to EPS to generate incremental business
  • Plan and manage day to day Inforce activities in EPS’ absence
  • Preparation of materials (Inforce life company documents) and accompanying documents for EPS and clients.
  • Provide support on New Business application process to the EPS team

Must Have

  • Minimum 2 years' experience working in an Insurance Agency or equivalent role within the industry
  • Knowledge of Life and Living Benefits insurance products
  • Excellent client service skills
  • Experience with meeting tight deadlines & set priorities; ability to work independently
  • Strong Microsoft office and Excel skills
  • Life Insurance Licensed, LLQP
  • Fluency in both Mandarin and English (spoken & written) is preferred

Nice-to-have

  • Post-secondary degree considered an asset
  • Experience servicing high net worth clients

This is a commission-based role and is compensated on a performance-based arrangement where your earnings are based on sales success and production generated by you or your team. You may be eligible for a discretionary, variable incentive payment.
