Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Engineering Technical Specialist (ETS) to support our client’s operations in Newmarket, ON. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and proactive professional who is passionate about maintaining compliance and driving continuous improvement within Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) programs.
In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring ESD standards are upheld across the site, optimizing workstations, and supporting new product and process introductions within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
**As this role is subject to the Canadian Government's Controlled Goods Program (CGP) the qualifying applicants must possess Canadian Citizenship or permanent residency status. A work permit status is not eligible for this role.
Pay Rate: $19.00 - $23.000/hour (based on experience)
Location: Newmarket, ON
Shift: 6:00am – 3:30pm

Responsibilities:
Conduct quarterly, site-wide ESD internal audits
Implement and manage the iOperations application across the site
Maintain iOperations assets, including adding new items and removing obsolete equipment
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve ESD non-conformances
Proactively identify risks and recommend corrective actions
Optimize ESD workstations and improve processes for efficiency and compliance
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the ESD program
Assist with new cell construction and project launches (BLITZ initiatives)
Support qualification of new materials and equipment
Perform annual ESD shoe and flooring verification testing across multiple combinations
Qualifications and Skills:
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Comfortable working with technical systems and maintaining databases
Experience in ESD programs or manufacturing environments is required
Ability to stand for extended periods (entire shift)
Frequent bending, twisting, and reaching
Hands-on work involving testing and equipment repair
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
