Overview

The Security Analyst will primarily support the Digital Security Group – Platform Security with Security Risk Assessment (SAR) automation using AI/ AI agentic framework. This includes working on gathering & curating internal KPMG ITS policy and standard and acting as a facilitator to help in creating Knowledge bases for SAR AI agents. Additionally, the analyst will be supporting the team with analysis and documentation of AI enablement paths for various AI technologies while identifying patterns of risks and security across approved and well-known solutions.


What you will do

  • Collaborate with ITS teams to collect knowledge on various use cases for AI, Enablement patterns of approved solutions and prepare knowledge base based on the acquired intel
  • Assist in research of enablement paths for various known AI solutions and assist in building the knowledge base
  • Work on ServiceNow integration with identified SAR AI agentic solution
  • Support the team with knowledge base building using ITS security standards and policies
  • Gather information on approved SARs and patterns of approval, to build the knowledge Base

What you bring to the role

  • Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, or a related field including the use of AI solutions
  • A good understanding of IT policies, standards, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST 800-53) is an asset
  • Interest in Cyber security automation using AI agents and similar technologies
  • Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multiple teams
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools and processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Working knowledge of Microsoft Copilot, Chat GPT, AI agents using langchain, various LLMs
  • Detail-oriented with inclination towards research & analysis
  • Ability to focus on solution driven approach & to be able to drive value out of the guidance provided by the team
  • Problem-solving and analytical mindset

 

KPMG Ontario Region Pay Range Information

The expected base salary range for this position is $43,500 to $60,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
