What You’ll Do:

  • Audit assembled outbound pallets to establish an accurate DC error rate and adhere to required sample sizes
  • Record, maintain and report quality audit data
  • Reconcile system and physical inventory
  • Investigate Root Cause/s and make necessary adjustments and or recommendations when discrepancies between system and physical inventory are identified
  • Enact Corrective Measures to Prevent Inventory & Financial Discrepancies
  • Creation and Analysis of Inventory reports 
  • Responding in a timely manner to email requests/inquiries
  • Work with warehouse operations to investigate and resolve product related concerns
  • Investigating receiving discrepancies and processing claims in a timely manner
  • Maintains confidentiality of inventory records to authorized personnel
  • Coordination and execution of Product Recall and Certified Sustainable Seafood processes
  • Familiarity with and adherence to Loblaw Food Safety Program and relevant SOP’s
  • Participation in special projects linked to the Inventory Core Business Processes

What You’ll Need:

  • Must be able to lift and/or pull 50 lbs without restriction
  • Ability to work irregular or extended hours including weekends and holidays as needed
  • Previous experience in a similar position would be considered an asset
  • Computer applications experience using MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Strong Time Management skills
  • Strong Analytical, Mathematical and Critical Thinking skills
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and individually to meet deadlines
