Adecco is currently hiring several full-time strategic and results-driven Contracts Advisors to join our client’s Supply Chain team on a temporary basis in Calgary, AB. This role focuses on material and/or service contracting and plays a critical part in delivering cost, risk, and efficiency improvements.

As a subject matter expert, you will manage the full lifecycle of contracts, lead complex sourcing initiatives, and build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and suppliers to drive measurable value.

  • Location: Calgary, AB

  • Shift: Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 5:00pm

  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to define business requirements and translate them into sourcing and category strategies aligned with corporate objectives

  • Identify cost-reduction opportunities through:

    • Market analysis

    • Supplier collaboration

    • Demand management

    • Ongoing monitoring of category spend

  • Apply data-driven insights to challenge specifications, service delivery models, and commercial structures to drive sustainable cost savings

  • Lead end-to-end sourcing-to-contract events for complex service categories, ensuring alignment between cost efficiency, performance, and risk mitigation

  • Develop and implement innovative commercial models and negotiation strategies to enhance competitive advantage

  • Negotiate and manage contracts, including:

    • Contract planning and strategy development

    • Supplier sourcing and negotiations

    • Contract execution and lifecycle management

    • Claims and warranty management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and business partners to support long-term value creation

  • Utilize spend analytics tools to support sourcing decisions and cost optimization initiatives

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant professional experience in supply chain, procurement, or contracting roles

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field

  • Demonstrated success in:

    • Cost optimization and cost modeling

    • Total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis

  • Strong commercial acumen, analytical thinking, and negotiation skills, particularly with multi-year service-based contracts

  • Deep understanding of cost drivers, contracting models, and risk management in complex service environments

  • Experience using SAP Ariba and spend analytics tools

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
