Adecco is currently hiring a Chilled Order Picker for a full-time position in Vaughan, ON. This opportunity is ideal for a reliable and safety-focused individual with strong warehouse experience who thrives in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

As a Chilled Order Picker, you will be responsible for assembling orders, operating material handling equipment, and ensuring products are handled safely and efficiently. You will play a key role in maintaining productivity, accuracy, and safety standards within a retail support centre environment.

  • Pay Rate: $21.00/hour

  • Location: Vaughan, ON

  • Schedule: Sunday to Monday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM

  • Job Type: Full-time |Temporary

  • Vacancy Status: This posting is for an existing vacancy.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble orders onto pallets for shipment to customers

  • Follow safe work practices and company safety rules at all times

  • Ensure required personal protective equipment is worn at all times

  • Maintain strong housekeeping practices and an acceptable level of productivity

  • Handle merchandise in a damage-free manner and report any equipment malfunctions to a supervisor

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company standards

  • Ensure compliance with all company food safety standards, guidelines, and procedures

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of forklift experience or a minimum of 1 year of experience with a valid forklift certification

  • Experience operating double pallet jacks and other material handling equipment

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or retail support centre environment is preferred

  • High school diploma required

  • Ability to perform physical work including frequent bending, lifting, and reaching, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time

  • Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment ranging from 0°C to -10°C, including handling produce, meat, fish, and other food products

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment

  • Customer-focused mindset with strong organizational and spatial awareness skills

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision

  • High level of awareness and alertness in a busy warehouse environment

  • Must be legally authorized to work and reside in Canada.
