Adecco is currently hiring a Bilingual Claims Contract Attorney for a remote opportunity. This role is ideal for a licensed attorney with litigation experience who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and enjoys analyzing complex claims, communicating with claimants and counsel, and delivering exceptional client service.
In this position, you will support product liability class action litigation and mass tort matters by reviewing claims, preparing detailed legal responses, and collaborating with a dedicated project team. Please note: This is not an eDiscovery document review position.
Pay Rate: $60.00/hour
Location: Toronto, ON | Remote
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time | Temporary Contract
Responsibilities
Analyze claim documents related to product liability class action litigation and mass tort matters.
Prepare detailed written responses to complex inquiries from claimants and legal counsel.
Respond to telephone inquiries from claimants and counsel with professionalism and accuracy.
Receive training, guidance, and oversight from project directors, project managers, project coordinators, and other project team members.
Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients.
Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, responsiveness, and quality of work.
Collaborate effectively with legal teams to ensure timely and accurate claim processing.
Handle multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all applicable legal and ethical standards.
Support project objectives by contributing to a collaborative and results-driven team environment.
Qualifications
Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
Must be bilingual in English and French. (Please ensure bilingualism is clearly indicated at the top of your resume.)
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school (a foreign law degree may also be considered).
Active law license in good standing in at least one Canadian jurisdiction.
Litigation experience is preferred.
Experience with class action litigation and/or mass tort matters is considered a strong asset.
Medical records review experience is preferred.
Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong customer service mindset with the ability to build positive client relationships.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and sound judgment.
