The Department of Medicine, Faculty of Health Sciences at McMaster University invites applications for an Assistant Professor to join our Division of Education & Innovation. This is a full-time faculty position for a period of three years (renewable).
The successful candidate will be a full-time member of the Division of Education & Innovation and will be expected to contribute to the academic mission of the Faculty and Division. The successful candidate should have appropriate fellowship training and will be expected to fully participate in all appropriate departmental and divisional educational activities.
The successful candidate will hold a Master’s degree in Global Health and demonstrate experience in establishing medical education partnerships and/or research collaborations with institutions in low- and middle-income countries. Experience engaging with marginalized communities, including newcomers, refugees, and Indigenous populations, will be considered an asset.
Applicants should be certified (or eligible for certification) by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or the College of Family Physicians of Canada and must be licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the Province of Ontario.
