What You’ll Do:
- Assist in all aspects of design and product development process by helping with sample organization, fabric swatches, color palettes, and CAD needs, along with supporting the team in design meetings and presentations
- Assist the Product Development and Design teams with completing CAD illustrations and PLM BOMs accurately and on time
- Support with shipping/receiving requests with vendors
- Prepare and maintain design presentations and line sheets
- Help organize trims, lab dips, hand looms, strike offs and knit downs
What You Bring:
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, Textile Design, Industrial Design, or a related discipline
- Retail experience a strong asset
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Suite, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office
- Prior experience using 3D fashion design software (i.e. CLO 3D, Rasperry.ai, etc.) an asset
- Prior PLM software experience an asset
- Solid comprehension of garment construction, garment specifications and critical product construction
- Must have an eye for detail, color and creativity combined with fashion industry insight
- Highly organized and detail oriented, able to tackle multiple projects with varying scope and project teams
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
