About the Role

Are you passionate about AI, digital transformation, and driving change ? Do you want to be at the forefront of redefining business processes through technology ? We are looking for an AI and Automation Lead to join our Canada team and play a key role in shaping the future of AI adoption and innovation. You will lead the capability and identify, develop, and implement AI-driven solutions that optimize business operations and enhance decision-making. You will collaborate with multiple teams to bring AI from concept to execution , ensuring its successful integration into daily business workflows.

What you will do
🔹 Drive AI & Digital Innovation: Identify high-impact opportunities to enhance  efficiency, decision-making and customer experience through AI and automation.

🔹 Lead AI Solution Development: Partner with cross-functionally with teams to design, pilot and scale AI-powered initiatives that deliver measurable business value.

🔹 Reimagine Business Processes : Assess workflows, challenge the status quo, and implement data-driven improvements
🔹 Champion Change & Adoption: Help teams understand, adopt, and maximize AI solutions , ensuring smooth implementation.

🔹 Enable Data-Driven Strategies: Support the creation of AI-driven insights and analytics to improve business decisions.

🔹 Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong partnerships across countries and functions to align AI priorities with strategic goals.

Mandatory Qualifications:

Post Secondary Degree in Computer Science, Data Science or a related field. Proficiency in English (Bilingual French is an asset)
Knowledge and Experience in Prompt Engineering 
Experience in driving medium to large organizations to transform through AI adoption
Proven track record in implementing large scale AI/Automation initiatives (workflow, agents, employee enablement, ...) 
Cross-functional collaboration experience – comfortable working with different teams and different organization levels. Preferred Qualifications Background in digital innovation , or strategy is a plus!
Prior exposure to a matrix organizations is appreciated.

This is a hybrid role – onsite presence at our Toronto office will be 10 days or more per month (or at least 50% of the time), determined in collaboration with your manager and based on business needs.

At Lilly Canada, we have three levels for this position based on the candidate’s experience, background, and qualifications. The expected compensation is:    

                                                                                   
Level 1: $67,500 – $99,000

Level 2: $91,500 – $134,200

Level 3: $111,750 - $163,900

This role is eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as participation in the Lilly Bonus Program.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.  The anticipated wage for this position is

$67,500 - $122,100

Full-time equivalent employees may also be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance). In addition, Lilly offers a comprehensive benefit program to eligible employees, including eligibility to participate in a pension plan; vacation benefits; eligibility for healthcare benefits; flexible benefits (if applicable) life insurance and death benefits; certain time off and leave of absence benefits; and well-being benefits (e.g., employee assistance program, fitness benefits, and employee clubs and activities).
