Adecco is currently hiring a full-time professional and highly organized Administrative Assistant to support Health & Social Services operations in Gold River, BC. Reporting to the Health and Social Services Manager, this role provides essential administrative, coordination, financial, and records support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
This position requires a high level of discretion, accuracy, and professionalism, as well as a respectful and culturally sensitive approach when working with staff, community members, and external partners.
Pay Rate: $23.60 - $29.47/hour (based on experience)
Location: Gold River, BC
Shift: Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:
Provide daily administrative support to the Health & Social Services Manager and team, including scheduling, correspondence, and office coordination
Prepare, format, and maintain accurate and confidential records, reports, and documentation
Support funding applications, contracts, reporting requirements, and program documentation
Coordinate meetings, including agendas, logistics, invitations, minutes, and attendance tracking
Arrange travel, accommodations, and training logistics
Provide basic financial support including purchase orders, invoices, expense tracking, and liaison with Finance
Assist with timesheets, leave forms, and payroll-related documentation
Track equipment, supplies, and training; assist with ordering and inventory management
Draft internal and external communications
Build and maintain respectful relationships with staff, community members, and external partners
Perform additional duties as required to support departmental operations
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum 2+ years of administrative or program support experience (3+ years preferred)
Experience working with First Nations, Indigenous organizations, or health/community services is an asset
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
High level of discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Google Suite and records systems is an asset
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Demonstrated cultural awareness, sensitivity, and respect in all interactions
Must successfully complete an RCMP Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC)
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
