Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Accounts Payable Clerk for a dynamic and fast-paced accounting team in Saskatoon, SK. In this role you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounts payable activities while ensuring accurate financial record-keeping. You will also provide occasional backup support for accounts receivable functions as needed.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and organized professional who thrives in a high-volume environment.
Pay Rate: $25.00/hour (depending upon experience)

Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable (Primary)
Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
Maintain up-to-date accounts payable records
Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable tax regulations (GST/HST)
Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payments and account status
Support month-end and year-end closing activities
Accounts Receivable (Backup Support)
Prepare and issue customer invoices
Record and apply incoming payments
Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue accounts
Assist with account reconciliations and aging reports
Respond to customer billing inquiries
Process and deposit customer cheques
Qualifications and Skills:
Diploma or certificate in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
1–3 years of experience in Accounts Payable (Accounts Receivable experience is an asset)
Knowledge of Canadian accounting practices and GST/HST regulations
Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
