As an Account Executive on the GM Canada business at Dentsu you will be an integral member of the Accounts team by providing support and assistance in managing the client’s business and ensuring that day to day activities run smoothly. The role is part of a larger integrated team, encompassing other Account teams, Creative, Production, Social, Media and Strategy. The Account Executive sets the tone for how the account is managed by assuring focus on key client objectives and actively contributes and supports the Account Supervisor, Account Director and other account leads in day-to-day activities.
Production/Project Management:
- Manage project scope and timelines for all platform operations
- Support and lead digital marketing ongoing execution through requirements gathering, brief creation, and campaign planning.
- Work with external/internal parties to handle requests, backlogs, and errors
- Communicate with account teams for day-to-day operations and develop tangible timelines for project completion
- Coordinate with creative and production teams dedicated to the project, including set-up and maintenance of net-new/ongoing campaigns
Team Collaboration & Interdepartmental Coordination:
- General client liaison and administration; builds project estimates, client contact reports, work back schedules, etc.
- Update plans with feedback from clients. Updates and distributes documents as needed.
- Develops campaign post-mortem documents by liaising with media, strategy, creative and production.
Client and Agency Partner Management:
- Builds trusting, collaborative relationships with direct clients, IAT partners, and vendors.
- Performs competitive research and produces reports.
Admin:
- Coordinates and schedules meetings and responsible for weekly status report upkeep.
- Communicate and liaise with any external and third parties involved with ongoing digital marketing needs.
- Management of projects under their remit: from docket creation, to invoicing to financial reconciliation of mandates.
- Support and leadership on any special projects to support the client business and account.
- Performs other duties, as assigned.
- Post-secondary degree/diploma in administration, communications, marketing or advertising
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience in similar work function preferred – key emphasis on roles focused around project management and platform management.
- Automotive industry experience is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly adaptable and able to perform in a dynamic environment.
- Comfortable working independently with strong organizational and prioritization skills; Quick learner and detail oriented
- Proficient using Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- Experience with project management software and experience manager platforms is a bonus.
- Experience with dynamic feeds and creative automation is a bonus.
