We need skilled, safety-focused Boilermaker to join our Maintenance Execution Team who will help maintain our commitment to operational excellence and reliable operations. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the maintenance and operation of our assets while collaborating with a positive and dynamic team. We ae looking for someone who is a strong team player with ability to make decisions autonomously in a fast-paced environment and build positive relationships with diverse groups.

Minimum Requirements:


  • Fluency in French required, with functional ability in English, both written and oral
  • 5 to 10 years of experience working as a boilermaker in the mining, oil and gas or similar industrial environment
  • A Companion Skill Card and knowledge of handling a bundle puller
  • A high school diploma, a DEP in boilermaking; DEP in welding would be an asset
  • A valid driver's license and an impeccable driving record
  • An ability to anticipate potential problems, identify conditions that are out of the ordinary, and demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office and experience with SAP

Key Responsabilités


  • Rigorously apply OHS standards, procedures and safe work methods
  • Perform maintenance work, including installation, troubleshooting and repair of industrial equipment in accordance with current norms and standards
  • Be able to direct, plan and estimate a task safely, efficiently and cost-effectively while reducing the impact on operations and costs incurred
  • Read and interpret plans, specifications and technical drawings as well as produce sketches as needed
  • Perform boilermaking, piping and welding work on various equipment, including rigging and lifting operations
  • Prepare materials and tooling required for assigned tasks
  • Report required materials, parts, and equipment requirements
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of work practices and the quality of work

Working conditions

  • You will work at our Montréal refinery, located at 11701 Sherbrooke Street East
  • Hours of work: 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and available outside normal working hours when required
  • Overtime available, depending on business needs
  • This position is safety sensitive
  • You will be required to perform some heavy lifting, use ladders and work on elevated work sites such as scaffolds and towers with the ability to perform in a variety of different environments both indoor and outdoor as well as within confined spaces
