Adecco is currently hiring several temporary full-time detail-oriented Assemblers to join our production team in Cambridge, ON. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting aerospace components and systems in accordance with engineering specifications and industry standards. This role requires strong technical expertise, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively to support high-quality production within tight deadlines.
*This role requires security clearance as per CGP which would be open to Permanent Residents and Canadian Citizens.
Pay rate: $25.00 /hour (based on experience)

Responsibilities:
Assemble and test aerospace components and systems according to specifications, engineering drawings, and standardized procedures.
Perform encapsulation, strapping, bonding, conformal coating, plated through hole, surface mount, terminal work, wire harness fabrication, tinning, and other specialized assembly processes.
Ensure proper handling and protection of parts using ESD-safe practices.
Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure compliance with all industry standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
Document inspection results and address any non-conformities in coordination with the quality team.
Follow standardized work instructions to maintain product reliability and consistent quality.
Work closely with engineering and production teams to improve assembly processes and assist in troubleshooting issues.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completion.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
Work effectively as part of a team to meet production goals within tight deadlines.
Provide guidance or support to team members when needed to maintain high-quality output.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
2 years previous experience in assembly or manufacturing
Certification in aerospace assembly standards such as NASA 8739 or J-STD-001 W-Sp
Hands-on experience in encapsulation, strapping, bonding, conformal coating, plated through hole, surface mount assembly, terminal work, wire harness fabrication, tinning, and ESD practices.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
Experience in a manufacturing or aerospace production environment.
Strong problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
In-depth knowledge of board assembly processes and product flow.
Commitment to quality, safety, and adherence to industry standards.
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools relevant to assembly.
Experience working with aerospace components and systems (highly desirable).
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
