About the Position
- We are searching for a permanent Manager, Business Architecture to join our Strategy and Analytics team.
- The starting salary will be determined based on a combination of skills, education, and experience. The salary range is $100,000 – $130,000 per year.

The Manager, Business Architecture will enable enterprise strategy, operational excellence, and transformation initiatives by partnering closely with senior leaders, business units, IT, and the PMO to define target operating models, business capabilities, and roadmaps, and to translate strategic priorities into actionable, value‑driven initiatives.

Key Ways This Position Makes An Impact
The Manager, Business Architecture will provide enterprise-level advisory support, oversee cross‑functional initiatives, and ensure that business architecture standards and practices are consistently applied to drive measurable business outcomes.
In this role, in an enterprise advisory capacity, you will exercise a high degree of independent judgment, discretion, and influence.
The manager will be accountable for defining frameworks, standards, and recommendations that shape organizational strategy and long‑term operating models.
You will lead the development and ongoing governance of business architecture blueprints, capability models, and target operating models aligned with enterprise strategy and operational goals.
In this role, you will maintain and evolve enterprise business architecture standards, frameworks, and artifacts to ensure consistency, quality, and strategic alignment.
You will provide strategic guidance to complex, cross‑functional initiatives by defining OKR’s and ensuring alignment with strategic ambitions, decisions, and priorities; execution is delivered through business units, IT, or PMO resources.
In this role, you will facilitate workshops and working sessions with stakeholders to define business requirements, current and future‑state operating models, and transformation roadmaps.
The manager will develop and maintain enterprise‑level architectural artifacts (e.g., capability maps, operating models, and roadmaps) that serve as authoritative reference materials for executive planning and decision‑making.
Key Experiences You Bring To This Role
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in business architecture, enterprise transformation, project management, or business analysis, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross‑functional initiatives and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of Life & Health insurance operations, including policy administration, claims, and underwriting.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid) and tools such as MS Project, Jira, or Asana.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence
It is preferred and considered a strong asset if you have the following:
- Certifications such as PMP, Certified Business Architect (CBA), TOGAF, or Lean Six Sigma.
- Experience with enterprise architecture platforms (e.g., LeanIX, Ardoq, Sparx EA).
