Adecco is currently hiring a full-time experienced Project Coordinator to support IT projects by providing project planning, coordination, tracking, and reporting support for our client in Mississauga, ON. This role is critical to ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget by maintaining schedules, documentation, financial tracking, and clear communication across cross-functional teams.

This role requires strong project controls expertise within an IT environment, is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with project managers, technical teams, and senior stakeholders.

  • Pay Rate: $55.00 - $60.00/hour

  • Location: Mississauga, ON

  • Shift: 9:00am – 5:00pm

  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Tracking

  • Support the planning and tracking of IT projects from initiation through completion

  • Develop and maintain project timelines, schedules, and work plans

  • Break down project objectives into actionable tasks and monitor progress against plans

  • Identify schedule risks, delays, or dependencies and flag issues early

Coordination & Communication

  • Act as a liaison between project managers, developers, QA, designers, stakeholders, and business partners

  • Schedule and facilitate project meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes

  • Track action items and follow up to ensure completion

  • Maintain clear and consistent communication across project teams

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain project documentation including status reports, RAID logs (Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions), and requirements documents

  • Prepare executive summary reports and regular project status updates for leadership and stakeholders

  • Ensure documentation is accurate, current, and aligned with project governance standards

Task, Resource & Financial Tracking

  • Track task assignments, progress, and resource utilization

  • Monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance against planned targets

  • Support financial reporting, cost tracking, and variance analysis

  • Ensure effective use of time, resources, and tools across projects

Risk & Issue Management

  • Identify, log, and track project risks and issues

  • Support escalation of risks and issues to appropriate stakeholders

  • Assist in mitigating impacts related to delays, defects, or communication gaps

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in project control within an IT environment or equivalent experience

  • College diploma required in a technology, business, or related field

  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including PMI’s PMBOK

  • Solid understanding of budgeting, financial, and accounting principles

  • Experience producing executive-level summaries and project status reports

  • Proven experience with meeting coordination, minute-taking, action item tracking, and RAID logs

  • Ability to leverage AI tools for productivity and reporting is considered an asset

  • Basic knowledge of the ITIL framework

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

  • High attention to detail with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced IT environment

  • Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
