Adecco is currently hiring a Digital Transformation Operations Manager for a full-time opportunity based in Ottawa, ON. This role is ideal for a driven leader with strong experience in document imaging, records management, and operational leadership within a production environment.

The successful candidate will oversee digital conversion operations, ensuring physical records are accurately transformed into secure, high-quality digital assets while maintaining compliance with client requirements and regulatory standards.

  • Salary: $30/hour

  • Location: Ottawa, ON

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday

  • Employment Type: Permanent | Full-time

  • Security Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain Level II Secret Clearance

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of document digitization, including preparation, scanning, indexing, quality control, and digital delivery

  • Ensure all imaging and conversion activities meet client requirements, regulatory standards, and industry best practices

  • Apply records management and archival principles to ensure proper handling, classification, and preservation of information

  • Manage metadata capture, indexing structures, and information governance standards

  • Monitor daily imaging operations, ensuring production targets, timelines, and service levels are consistently met

  • Track and analyze operational metrics, providing regular reporting on performance and output

  • Identify operational challenges and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality

  • Maintain and coordinate servicing of scanning and imaging equipment

  • Support billing and invoicing processes related to digital imaging projects

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of imaging professionals, fostering a high-performance and collaborative environment

  • Develop and maintain training programs, onboarding materials, and operational procedures

  • Provide hands-on support when required, including assisting with scanning and document preparation tasks

  • Implement and oversee quality assurance processes, including audits and compliance checks

  • Ensure secure handling of sensitive and confidential records in line with privacy and governance standards

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to address inquiries, resolve issues, and align on project requirements

  • Participate in client meetings and occasional site visits as needed

Requirements

  • Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada

  • Post-secondary education in Information Management, Library Science, IT, or a related field is an asset

  • 3–5+ years of experience in document imaging, digitization, or records management

  • 2–3 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred

  • Strong understanding of digital imaging workflows and high-volume scanning environments

  • Knowledge of metadata standards, indexing, and records lifecycle management

  • Experience with document management systems and capture software

  • Advanced computer skills and familiarity with databases and file management systems

  • Exposure to scripting or coding languages (e.g., SQL, Python, PowerShell) is an asset

  • Understanding of IT systems, integrations, and workflow automation

  • Strong troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software issues

  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills

  • Ability to balance hands-on technical work with operational management responsibilities

  • Professional certifications such as CIP or IGP are considered an asset
