Job Summary
To assist with testing of fiber properties and maintain research records.
Organizational Status
Reports to Lab Manager.
Work Performed
Assist with fiber spinning and processing. Assist with testing of fiber properties. Manufacturing and testing of composite filaments and samples made from different processing techniques such as injection molding and additive manufacturing. Maintain research related records and databases, entering data according to established protocols. Cleans and performs basic maintenance of equipment and apparatus. Carries out any other related duties as required .
Consequence of Error/Judgement
Errors in testing may result in bad data and delay reports.

Supervised by Drs. Abdin and Renneckar.

None
Minimum Qualifications
High school graduation and a minimum one year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications
BASc in materials Engineering.
