Adecco is currently hiring an Aircraft Mechanic for a full-time position in Petawawa, ON. This opportunity is ideal for a highly skilled and detail-oriented aircraft maintenance professional with strong technical expertise and experience working in regulated aerospace environments.

As an Aircraft Mechanic, you will be responsible for assembling, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex aerospace systems, ensuring all components meet strict regulatory and contractual requirements. You will play a key role in maintaining aircraft safety, performance, and operational readiness.

  • Salary: $40.00 – $60.00/hour

  • Location: Petawawa, ON

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM

  • Contract: Full-time | Temporary (12 months, with potential for extension)

  • Vacancy Status: This posting is for an existing vacancy.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, disassemble, and modify aerospace systems by replacing or upgrading components to correct failures or implement changes

  • Oversee assembly, disassembly, and overhaul processes, and configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment

  • Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to identify and repair faults

  • Perform validation and verification testing of systems and components

  • Document procedures and processes to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements, including repairs, test results, and inspections

  • Inspect components and verify repairs to ensure flight worthiness requirements are met

  • Support and oversee training activities as required

  • Work under general direction while maintaining high standards of quality and safety

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4+ years of aircraft maintenance experience at the AME/A&P A level

  • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis and reporting

  • Experience working on the CH147 platform is considered an asset

  • Completion of a formal CH147 type training course is considered an asset

  • Must be eligible to handle U.S. export-controlled data

  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada

  • Must consent to a Canadian Government Controlled Goods Program (CGP) assessment

  • Must be eligible to obtain a Secret Level II Security Clearance

  • Must not pose a risk for safeguarding controlled goods

  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and maintain high attention to detail in a regulated environment

  • Must be legally authorized to work and reside in Canada.
