Summary
As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and operating secure, scalable, and cloud‑native solutions across public cloud platforms. In this 1-year fixed term role, you will work closely with application teams, architects, and DevOps practitioners to enable modern cloud adoption using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation‑first principles. This role is well‑suited for professionals who thrive in complex, fast‑paced environments and enjoy translating business and technical requirements into resilient cloud platforms.
What will your typical day look like?
You will design, implement, and maintain cloud‑native infrastructure solutions using Terraform and cloud‑provider native services across AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Your day will involve collaborating with application and platform teams to provision environments, enable CI/CD pipelines, and embed reliability, security, and observability into cloud workloads from day one.
You will contribute to the development of reusable IaC modules, enforce cloud standards and best practices, and support multi‑environment deployments across development, test, and production. You will help optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and scalability while supporting containerized and microservices‑based architectures.
You will also participate in troubleshooting cloud and pipeline issues, supporting incident resolution, and continuously improving automation, monitoring, and deployment strategies. As a mid‑level or senior contributor, you may mentor junior team members and influence cloud architecture and DevOps ways of working across engagements.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) hands‑on expertise, with deep practical experience designing and managing cloud environments using Terraform, including reusable modules, state management, and environment promotion strategies (D) - Experience with cloud‑native and DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated provisioning, and operational readiness; experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, EKS/GKE) is strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of reliability, security, and operational best practices, including monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident response; experience applying SRE principles, cost optimization, and performance tuning is an asset
