Adecco, in partnership with our client, a rapidly growing manufacturer specializing in high‑quality commercial HVAC equipment and heat exchanger coil products, is currently hiring a full-time experienced and strategic Quality Control Manager to lead all Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), and Health & Safety activities across our North American manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for developing and implementing Quality Management Systems (QMS), driving continuous improvement initiatives, and overseeing quality performance across multiple production sites.

You should bring strong leadership skills, extensive manufacturing quality experience, and a deep understanding of HVAC or coil production processes.

  • Pay Rate: $85,000 - $100,000/annually (based on experience)

  • Location: Kingston, ON

  • Job type: Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive Quality Management Systems (QMS), standards, and procedures.

  • Oversee quality processes across all manufacturing locations, ensuring consistency and compliance.

  • Manage incoming material inspections, in‑process checks, final product inspections, and Supplier Quality Development.

  • Lead root cause analysis, Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and continuous improvement activities.

  • Analyze quality metrics and KPIs to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.

  • Work closely with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiencies.

  • Partner with customers and suppliers to resolve quality concerns and strengthen long‑term relationships.

  • Manage and mentor a team of quality inspectors, technicians, and coordinators.

  • Build a strong quality culture focused on accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

  • Maintain accurate quality records, reports, and audit documentation.

  • Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely completion of corrective actions.

  • Support regulatory, safety, and customer compliance requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control within a manufacturing environment

  • Experience in HVAC equipment or coil manufacturing strongly preferred

  • Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 or equivalent quality management frameworks

  • Familiarity with quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies

  • Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills

  • Proficiency in quality documentation, reporting systems, and digital tools

  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing QC teams

  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification

  • ISO Lead Auditor certification

  • Experience managing regulatory or customer audits in a manufacturing environment

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
