A career as a Director, Practice Management – Wealth Management within the Business Best Practices team at National Bank Financial means acting as a business coach and trusted advisor to wealth management advisors. This role allows you to contribute to the transformation of practices by leveraging your expertise in business coaching and wealth management.

Your role

  • Support wealth management advisors in improving their practices to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Design and deliver tailored coaching programs focused on client management, practice management, and business development.
  • Influence and inspire professionals through dynamic training sessions, workshops, and presentations.
  • Identify customized strategies to address the unique realities of each advisor.
  • Contribute to the development and monitoring of performance indicators related to coaching and training initiatives.
  • Stay current on business best practices and integrate them into development initiatives.

Your team

The Business Best Practices team within National Bank Financial – Wealth Management brings together experts who are passionate about supporting advisors in their growth. You will be part of an agile and collaborative team under the leadership of the Vice President, Development and Client Experience. The environment is defined by collaboration and a strong commitment to excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in the wealth management field
  • Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or a recognized equivalent
  • Strong understanding of the day-to-day challenges faced by wealth management advisors
  • Availability to travel across Canada
  • Demonstrated business coaching skills, with the ability to inspire and influence professionals
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and comfort facilitating group presentations
  • Ability to build relationships based on trust
  • Ability to communicate in a clear and inspiring manner
  • Strong analytical mindset to assess and adapt coaching strategies
