Adecco, in partnership with out client, Capital Movers and Storage, is currently hiring a full-time Seasonal Movers & General Labourers for the summer season (May–September). This is the perfect opportunity for motivated individuals looking for a hands‑on, physically active job that builds experience in teamwork, customer service, problem‑solving, and leadership. In this role you will work closely with drivers and a team of movers to load, unload, pack, and transport household and office goods. This job involves physical labour, attention to detail, and delivering excellent customer service at each move.

• Pay Rate: $19.05/hour

• Location: Kingston, ON, Trenton, ON and Deep River, ON

• Job type: Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Assist with loading and unloading household goods at residences, offices, and warehouse locations

• Perform packing and unpacking tasks, including handling breakables and specialty items

• Support the loading/unloading of appliances and fine furniture for commercial deliveries

• Follow all Capital Movers/Walker’s policies and Van Line procedures

• Comply with all health and safety protocols

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Help with truck and trailer upkeep, including folding blankets, breaking down packing materials, and washing vehicles/equipment

Qualifications:

• Experience in moving, storage, or packing is an asset

• Physically fit and able to handle long hours of physical activity

• Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset

• Must obtain a CPIC (Criminal Record Check) upon hiring

• Strong organizational skills

• Fast learner with the ability to take on new tasks quickly

• Excellent customer service and communication abilities

• Able to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly

• Enjoys physical, hands‑on work

• High attention to detail

• Reliable, punctual, and a positive team player

• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
