Who we're looking for:
We are seeking a skilled Sr. Developer with hands-on experience in Java spring boot microservices, Azure CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications using Spring Boot, while leveraging Azure DevOps tools for continuous integration and delivery. Your work will be a key part of an Agile team focused on delivering high-quality software solutions in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
What you'll do:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient Java-based applications using Spring Boot.
- Implement Azure CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration, deployment, and automation of the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps) to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives, ensuring efficient collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices and design patterns.
- Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications, optimizing for performance and scalability.
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure application functionality.
- Participate in the full development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to production deployment.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and suggest improvements to processes and tools.
What you bring:
- Strong experience in Java development with a focus on Spring Boot framework.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for building, testing, and deploying applications via CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in working with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud-based applications.
- Experience with version control tools, such as Git.
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of Relational Databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
- Experience in unit testing and test-driven development (TDD).
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
