Position Description:
Corporate Security is accountable for establishing, implementing, administering, and enforcing Bell's Security Policies.
Reporting to the Senior Manager – Physical Security, the Specialist, Asset Protection is responsible to provide physical security direction and expertise to all Bell companies. Their primary focus is to ensure the implementation of appropriate measures to safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Bell’s people, information, and assets.

Job Duties/ Accountabilities:
- Evaluate, develop, enhance, implement, and maintain elements of the Company’ physical security program aimed at reducing risks, costs, liabilities, and protecting Bell’s brand
- Develop comprehensive physical security plans for new infrastructure projects or in response to changing business requirements. Manage implementation projects from end to end (to include all phases of development, design, installation, and inspections) and provide oversight and management of the plan
- Promote Security awareness and provide guidance to Bell population
- Actively engage stakeholders, perform vulnerability assessments and site security surveys to assess effectiveness of safeguards, develop remediation strategies, and recommendations to adjust Security program objectives
- Interpret, review and optimize Physical Security Policies and supporting Directives, Procedures and Standards to ensure effectiveness and to align with industry best practices
- Analyze and evaluate security requirements, ensuring implementation conformance for both SOX and Payment Card Industry regulatory standards
- Maintain up to date security surveys for critical and key facilities
- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers
- Deploy a variety of security-related operational tasks directed at establishing and sustaining specified levels of effectiveness in security management, and/or in response to emergency conditions
Competencies:
- Expert knowledge of asset protection principles, crime prevention, physical security technology and the implementation of electronic access control and surveillance systems.
- Ability to provide leadership, advice and operational guidance on the application of security best practices, techniques and methodologies, for diverse operating environments such as data processing facilities, network facilities, administrative areas and remote locations.
- Experience developing and performing threat and risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, facility security surveys and communicating findings through documented reports.
- Experience in Security or Building Infrastructure Project Management.
- Able to work independently (self-directed) in a virtual team and learn new applications / areas of responsibilities.
- Flexible and able to adapt to complex and quickly changing environments.
- Well developed organization, time-management, and communications skills (verbal and written).
- Proficient with standard Office productivity software; ability to learn new data entry systems.
- Strong analytical/problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent negotiating and decision-making skills.
Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in security & law enforcement, project management, engineering or business management
- Minimum of 3 years work experience in an organizational Physical Security related role or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Holds of a valid CPP® (Certified Protection Professional), PSP® (Physical Security Professional) or equivalent industry certification, or commits to acquire within 12 months of employment.
- PMP® (Project Management Professional) or CAPM® (Certified Associate in Project Management) certification are considered a strong asset.
- Experience managing relationships with external vendors.
- Valid Driver license
- Knowledge of building systems, facility management and the regulatory environment
- Bilingual: English & French (Verbal and written) for positions in Quebec
Working Conditions:
- The candidate agrees to undergo pre-employment screening, including criminal record and employment reference check.
- Successful candidate will be required to obtain a Federal security clearance to secret level
- Extensive travel within a designated territory and occasional overnight travel required
