Adecco is currently recruiting for a Senior Materiel Management for a hybrid (4 days onsite) 1 year contract with our Crown Corporation Client in Gatineau, ON. The successful candidate must hold a valid Secret Level Security Clearance or be eligible for it.

The Senior Materiel Management will have the following responsibilities:

·      Receive deliveries, triage packages, and enter DRMIS transactions.

·      Operate material handling equipment including forklift, if certified to do so.

·      Operate material handling equipment including pallet jack.

·      Conduct disposal and transfer transactions, including serial number verification.

·      Conduct disposal and transfer transactions, including serial number verification.

·      Assist in organizing hazardous waste pickups and general waste disposal.

·      Assist with GC Surplus activities, including item preparation, listing, and buyer coordination.

·      Maintain accurate inventory of loaned equipment

·      Provide in-person and virtual client support for supply requests.

·      Maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

The Senior Materiel Management should have the following qualifications and skills:

·       Secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and relevant work experience.

·       Must have at least twenty-four (24) months experience in the last sixty (60) working in a government or commercial warehousing environment for an organization with greater than 500 employees.

·       Must have twenty-four (24) months experience in the last sixty (60) months in entering materiel management data into an SAP-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system using a warehousing module.

·       Ability to communicate fluently in English is required as the successful resource will be providing service to individuals outside of Quebec.
