Adecco is currently hiring for a Project Manager/Engineer – Site Development to join a growing team in the Kitchener/Waterloo area. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with a competitive salary, bonus, and a full suite of benefits. This role is ideal for a dynamic, detail-oriented professional with experience managing civil infrastructure or site development projects.

  • Salary: $100,000–$130,000 + bonus + benefits + vacation + stocks + RSP + other perks

  • Location: Kitchener, ON | Hybrid (servicing the Kitchener/Waterloo/Cambridge/Guelph areas)

  • Job Type: Full-time | Permanent

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday |

Responsibilities:

  • Lead planning, execution, and delivery of site development and infrastructure projects within budget and on schedule

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, acting as their main point of contact throughout the project lifecycle

  • Identify new business opportunities in the region and contribute to proposal preparation, project scoping, and RFP responses

  • Oversee design and technical aspects of projects, including grading, servicing, stormwater management, and site plan reviews

  • Manage financials for projects, including budgeting, invoicing, progress payment certificates, and accounts receivable

  • Participate in project and client meetings, providing clear communication and status updates

  • Provide guidance and direction to project teams, ensuring alignment with client expectations and regulatory requirements

  • Contribute to business development initiatives and company growth

Requirements:

  • Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada

  • Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management within an engineering consulting environment

  • Professional designation (P.Eng. or C.E.T.) or in progress

  • Strong knowledge of site development processes, municipal standards, and relevant legislation

  • Proficiency with MS Office and familiarity with engineering software/tools

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a client-focused mindset

  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and projects to successful outcomes
