PepsiCo Foods Canada has a current opening at the Frito Lay Facility in Cambridge, ON for a Licensed Plumber 

 

Compensation: $47.95 per hour (Plus shift premiums) 
Shift: Weekday Day Shift (7am – 3pm)  


Responsibilities

  • Maintenance of site equipment 
  • Completion of preventative and predictive maintenance inspections and repairs of all plumbing related equipment within area of responsibility 
  • Carrying out assigned daily maintenance tasks with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency 
  • Manage through emergency breakdowns 
  • Support in root cause and prevention of future downtime events 
  • Work collaboratively with operators and other classifications across the site to reduce downtime, safety and quality risks 
  • Communicating clearly during shift handovers and team meetings to ensure smooth coordination across teams and work orders 
  • Demonstrating strong troubleshooting abilities and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, high-demand environment 
  • Manage through emergency breakdowns 

Qualifications

  • Mandatory: Must currently possess a valid journeyman plumbing ticket in the province of Ontario 
  • A valid millwright, electrical, pipe fitter/welder, and/or power engineering ticket in the province of Ontario would be an asset 
  • Strong work ethic, with a positive attitude and motivation to succeed in a team environment 
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs as required 
  • Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset with a focus on safety, efficiency, and reliability 
  • Exceptional communication skills and basic computer literacy  
  • Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and recording hours 
  • Must be flexible and available to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by the operation
