PHYT 5214 Cardiorespiratory II [Winter term, January 7th – April 10th, 2026, inclusive of exam period]

Labs occur weekly, on Thursdays 12:30 pm – 4:00 pm. Must be available for final OSCE Friday April 10th, 2026, 8:00 am- 5:00 pm

The laboratory demonstrator will assist the course faculty by teaching physical assessment, documentation, and/or practical treatment skills and techniques in the laboratory component of this course for Year 1 MScPT students. The laboratory demonstrator will also be asked to act as an examiner for mid-term (Thursday February 26th, 2026) and final (Friday April 10th, 2026) practical exams and to evaluate the students' performance throughout the course. Preparation in advance for each lab and to be knowledgeable about the content, will be required. Lab demonstrators will promote a professional environment for safe and effective student learning. Good interpersonal skills required to work with groups of students or for one-on-one interaction. Strong communication skills, a positive attitude toward students, fairness in evaluation and grading, and flexibility in approaches to teaching are also required.
