Adecco is currently hiring a full-time skilled and licensed Maintenance Electrician to join our client’s high-performing maintenance team in Woodbridge, ON. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all electrical systems and equipment within a fast-paced production environment. This role involves hands-on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and collaborating with various departments to minimize downtime and support continuous improvement.

  • Pay Rate: $42.00/hour

  • Location: Woodbridge, ON

  • Shift: Nights: Monday to Friday | 10:00pm – 6:30am

  • Job type: Long term contract | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all company health and safety policies, procedures, and programs, ensuring full compliance with applicable health and safety legislation and codes.

  • Promptly report any incidents, injuries, illnesses, or near misses to the designated supervisor.

  • Always wear and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by company guidelines.

  • Immediately notify the supervisor of any unsafe conditions, malfunctioning equipment, or breaches of health and safety regulations.

  • Adhere to all company health and safety policies, procedures, and programs, ensuring full compliance with applicable health and safety legislation and codes.

  • Promptly report any incidents, injuries, illnesses, or near misses to the designated supervisor.

  • Always wear and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by company guidelines.

  • Immediately notify the supervisor of any unsafe conditions, malfunctioning equipment, or breaches of health and safety regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 2+ years of relevant experience

  • Proficient in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), including completing and generating work orders and executing planned maintenance tasks.

  • Licensed Industrial Electrician

  • Technician/Technologist diploma or degree in a maintenance or engineering-related field, preferably with a focus on electrical systems and robotics.

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with strict deadlines.

  • Excellent communication skills, with a strong aptitude for learning and mentoring.

  • Proven team player who collaborates well with others.

  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical documentation including engineering drawings, procedures, and applicable regulations.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to analyze and present data; working knowledge of the full Microsoft Office suite.

  • Highly self-motivated with the capability to conduct root cause analyses and implement long-term corrective measures

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
