Dalhousie University’s Faculty of Medicine (also known as the Medical School) teaches scientific excellence and humanities in medicine, facilitates leading health research, influences social and health policy, and helps drive the regional economy. An integral part of Atlantic Canada since 1868, the Medical School’s success has always been linked to our relevance to the communities we serve. Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, Dean’s Office, Faculty of Medicine (FoM), the Human Resources Coordinator will serve as the first point of contact for any human resources (HR) inquiries within the Faculty, and will administratively coordinate scheduling and processes for a range of HR functions including but not limited to faculty appointments, promotion and tenure, payroll, orientation/onboarding, and staff recruitment.
