Overview

We’re on the hunt for a passionate and driven Field Sales Associate Merchandiser to join our Field Sales team in the Greater Toronto Area (East). In this exciting role, you’ll be the face of SodaStream in the field — building strong relationships with retailers, executing flawless merchandising, and hunting for new business opportunities. You’ll bring energy, creativity, and a results-driven mindset to every store visit, demo, and conversation.


Responsibilities

(Field Merchandising & Execution – 85%, New Business Development – 15%)

  • Build strong relationships with retailers and ensure flawless merchandising execution.
  • Develop and follow a smart retail call plan to maximize territory coverage.
  • Influence replenishment orders and maintain product distribution and visibility.
  • Prospect for new business opportunities and support new door development.
  • Conduct product demos and support in-store activations (some weekend work required).
  • Keep accurate records of store visits, follow-ups, and sales activities.
  • Share feedback on wins, challenges, and market insights with the team.
  • Participate in monthly sales meetings and occasional trade events.
  • Travel within the territory and to nearby regions as needed.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of field sales or merchandising experience in a retail environment.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills — you're confident, clear, and persuasive.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a knack for building relationships.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule.
  • Detail-oriented and proficient with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Clean driving record and reliable transportation required.
  • Able to lift and move stock as needed and travel within the territory (including occasional overnight stays).
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but equivalent experience works too!
