Overview

We’re looking for a Bilingual Field Sales Associate Merchandiser to join our Field Sales team in Montreal and Eastern Quebec. You’ll be the face of SodaStream in the field, driving flawless merchandising, growing our retail footprint, and hunting for new doors. Your deep understanding of the Quebec market and ability to connect in both English and French will be key to your success.


Responsibilities

(Field Merchandising & Execution – 70%, New Business Development – 30%)

  • Build strong relationships with retailers and ensure flawless merchandising execution.
  • Develop and follow a smart retail call plan to maximize territory coverage.
  • Influence replenishment orders and maintain product distribution and visibility.
  • Prospect for new business opportunities and actively support new door development.
  • Conduct product demos and support in-store activations (some weekend work required).
  • Maintain accurate records of store visits, follow-ups, and sales activities.
  • Share feedback on wins, challenges, and market insights — especially Quebec-specific trends.
  • Participate in monthly sales meetings and occasional trade events.
  • Travel regularly within the territory, including overnight trips to Quebec City.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of field sales or merchandising experience, ideally within the Quebec retail market.
  • Fluency in both French and English is required.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills — you're confident, clear, and persuasive.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a knack for building relationships.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule.
  • Detail-oriented and proficient with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Clean driving record and reliable transportation required.
  • Able to lift and move stock as needed and travel within the territory.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but equivalent experience works too!
