Adecco is currently hiring a full-time skilled and proactive Electrical Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our client’s maintenance team. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our production equipment and facilities, supporting our commitment to operational excellence.
Pay Rate: $41.00/hour
Location: Scarborough, ON
Shift: Monday to Thursday 4:30pm - 1:00am, Friday 2:00pm – 10:30pm (Subject to variance based on business needs)

Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical and mechanical systems, equipment, and components.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with machinery and equipment, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment.
Conduct regular inspections and assessments to identify potential issues and address them proactively
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems.
Implement upgrades and modifications to existing equipment to enhance performance and efficiency.
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety protocols and industry regulations.
Promote a safe working environment by adhering to safety procedures and participating in regular safety training.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
Prepare and submit maintenance reports to management as required.
Provide complex information and accommodate diverse requests requiring interpretation and sensitivity.
Work effectively in teams and positively influence others on a regular basis.
Analyze and interpret multiple factors when making decisions, with limited guidelines and precedents
Qualifications:
Completion of a four-year university program plus a one-year apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering.
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, with proficiency in troubleshooting and repair.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
