Adecco is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer for a 6-month contract with a leading client in Cambridge, ON. In this role, you’ll support end-to-end electrical design projects—from concept to implementation—within a fast-paced advanced manufacturing environment. You’ll collaborate across teams, work with external vendors, and support the production line with technical expertise. This is a great opportunity to apply your skills to real-world engineering challenges while earning $55/hour.
  • Pay rate: $55/hour.
  • Location: Cambridge, ON
  • Shifts: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
  • Job type: 6-month contract | Full-time

Responsibilities:
  • Creating and reviewing electrical design documentation.
  • Selecting appropriate electronic materials and processes.
  • Developing electrical parts packaging and creating detailed drawings.
  • Reviewing and developing system performance specifications.
  • Working directly with external vendors and suppliers.
  • Providing technical assistance to the manufacturing line.
  • Occasional travel to customer or supplier sites as required.
Requirements:
  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in electrical design, systems, or related engineering roles.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuit design, and testing.
  • Proficiency with CAD tools such as AutoCAD or Altium, and simulation software.
  • Familiarity with standards such as IEEE, NEC, IPC.
  • Experience with PCB layout, power systems, and/or embedded systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
