Overview

As part of the Enterprise practice, the Technician will excel in servicing a wide variety of clients ranging from smaller entrepreneurial ventures to large companies with multiple locations.  We have a strong culture of providing excellent client service and working diligently to help our clients in all aspects of their business needs.  Dedicated team players with strong work ethics will be rewarded with stimulating and interesting opportunities with our diversified client portfolio


What you will do

  • Perform bookkeeping activities for a variety of clients including payroll and GST/PST filings 

  • Prepare working paper files, including financials and corporate tax returns 

  • Respond to client requests and inquiries on a day-to-day basis 

  • Support the preparation of year-end financials and tax filings by working with various team members to complete tasks 

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate service delivery 


What you bring to the role

  • Previous experience in bookkeeping, ideally within a public accounting office 

  • Post-secondary education in accounting or a related field 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills 

  • Effective time-management and self-motivation 

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities 

  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and other standard software 

  • Experience with Caseware, QuickBooks, Sage and Xero is an asset 

 

KPMG BC Region Pay Range Information 

In British Columbia, the expected base salary range for this position is $38,500 to $60,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills, and competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
