Job Description

What will you do?

Business Management

  • Fulfill on key activities in the Business Management Office Operations (e.g. GRM Real Estate Portfolio).
  • Support the Business Management Office Operations while continually looking for opportunities to increase operational efficiency and cost savings.
  • Identify and recommend changes and ideas to support process simplification efforts.

Developing, Analyzing and Reporting

  • Validate, analyze, reconcile, and consolidate multiple sources of data (e.g. technology, HR resources, etc.) to support the business management premise review process.
  • Support reporting by developing, analyzing and reconciling premise reports (e.g. utilization report, ad hoc inquiries).
  • Ensure the integrity, accuracy and completeness of premise data and provide proactive advice on any savings opportunities or efficiencies.

Delivery & Execution

  • Manage real estate related projects and GRM business management initiatives which includes coordinating with stakeholders, planning, tracking, delivering, executing, and reporting.
  • Actively manage team Connect, SharePoint and Confluence sites.
  • Consistently reacts and adapts to changing environment.  Provides recommendations on issues and /or process change (ie. Equipment, technology)
  • Creates work orders immediately for maintenance identified, track and follow-up to ensure completed in timely manner. 
  • Support Manager, GRM Business Management in the execution of GRM Business Management operations
  • Flexibility and mobility in moving between buildings is nice to have, as physical move of equipment from one office to another, or review of equipment inventory in different RBC offices may be required.

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have

  • Experience in reporting, review, and analysis of multiple data points.
  • Proficient/Advanced in Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel - intermediate, PowerPoint).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Problem solver continually looking for opportunities to streamline and increase operational efficiency.
  • Adaptability, including high capacity to learn, pivot when required, working with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with real estate initiatives and asset management tracking.
  • Experience in change management and Tableau reporting.

Please note: This posting is for a 4-months Summer 2026 Student placement with a start date of May 2026, and end date of August 2026. In order to be eligible for this 4-months Student position, you must either:

  • Be returning back to school after the work term end-date of August 2026 ; or
  • If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in August 2026), you must require the full 4-months work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.
