What we offer
The BIM (Building Information Modeling) Manager will lead the implementation and management of BIM processes across projects to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards. This role will ensure that all drawings and models meet manufacturability standards and align with product specifications and requirements. This role is pivotal in bridging design and production, driving efficiency and innovation, and maintaining quality in construction workflows.
What you’ll do
- Create, implement, and enforce BIM protocols, workflows, and execution plans across all projects.
- Oversee the development, integration, and maintenance of federated BIM models, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Manage timelines for all 3D deliverables and coordinate effectively with the internal team to achieve project milestones and ensure on-time delivery.
- Facilitate BIM coordination meetings, resolve clashes, and ensure seamless integration between architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
- Implement and maintain BIM workflows that integrate design with manufacturing processes, reducing errors and optimizing efficiency.
- Review and validate drawings to ensure they are manufacturable and comply with established standards for production.
- Work closely with engineering, production, and project management teams to resolve design issues and ensure seamless handoff to manufacturing.
- Provide guidance and training to project teams on BIM tools and processes, fostering continuous improvement.
- Manage BIM software suites and ensure updates and compliance and evaluate new technologies.
- Conduct regular audits of models and drawings to confirm adherence to manufacturability requirements and company standards.
- Maintain the common data environment (CDE) and ensure proper version control and documentation.
- Act as the primary point of contact for BIM-related queries and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment between design intent and production capabilities.
- Perform other duties as required.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in BIM management or similar role.
- Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD).
- Technical expertise in BIM workflows and multi-discipline coordination.
- Ability to manage complex projects and lead cross-functional teams.
- Problem-solving, adaptability, and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with automation tools and data integration for manufacturing workflows
- Strong understanding of construction processes and BIM standards.
- Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills.
