Adecco is currently seeking a Casual/On-Call Pharmacist to join our client’s team based in Kingston, Ontario. This flexible role is ideal for pharmacists seeking meaningful clinical work while maintaining a healthy work/home-life balance. With the ability to choose shifts based on availability, limited mandatory hours, and supportive team-based scheduling, this position allows you to integrate professional responsibilities with personal commitments. You will support pharmacy operations through dispensing, patient counselling, medication reviews, and clinical documentation while contributing to a collaborative healthcare environment dedicated to improving patient outcomes.

• Pay rate: $52-$57/hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Dispensing medications and delivering pharmaceutical care, including Medication Reviews and patient counselling.

• Supporting prescription triage, data entry, and sterile compounding (if applicable).

• Collaborating with clinicians and care coordinators to resolve prescription-related issues.

• Ensuring accuracy in third-party billing and prescription processing.

• Assisting in training new staff and supporting workflow efficiency within the pharmacy team.

• Participating in on-call rotations, with availability for evening and weekend shifts as needed.

• Researching infusion admixture compatibility and stability.

• Completing clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

• Upholding all professional requirements and safety protocols.

Requirements:

• Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.

• Active registration and good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a practicing pharmacist.

• Experience with Kroll pharmacy software (an asset).

• Experience in sterile compounding (preferred, where applicable).

• Excellent organizational, communication, and patient-focused service skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
