Adecco is currently hiring a Senior Project Manager for one of our valued clients. This permanent, full-time role begins with a major project based in Kamloops, BC.

As a senior leader on the project team, you will oversee all aspects of construction delivery—from startup to closeout—ensuring safety, quality, budget performance, client satisfaction, and team development remain top priorities. This position is ideal for an experienced construction professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and is committed to excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.

  • Salary : $150,000 – $180,000 (base salary)

  • Location: Kamloops, BC or candidates open to relocation or fly-in/fly-out from Vancouver, Edmonton, or Calgary

  • Job Type: Full-time | Permanent

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop operational staff to support a strong, people-focused workplace culture

  • Ensure all operational standards, systems, and processes are met with excellence and consistency

  • Provide elevated client service and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders

  • Develop strategies to meet project performance goals and achieve measurable outcomes

  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement through lean practices and training

  • Oversee all project startup activities, including contract review, kickoff meetings, execution planning, staffing plans, and procurement

  • Collaborate with Estimating and Business Development teams to pursue and secure future work

  • Lead financial management strategies across the project lifecycle

  • Manage safety, quality, communications, and risk mitigation plans

  • Create, maintain, and monitor project schedules

  • Chair meetings, issue minutes, and track action items

  • Track productivity, performance, and progress to ensure milestones are achieved

  • Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts proactively

  • Lead all project closeout activities, including training, inspections, turnover, and warranty

  • Support business development through relationship building with partners, consultants, and industry organizations

  • Coach, mentor, and create growth opportunities for team members aligned with organizational goals

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills

  • Exceptional organizational and analytical abilities

  • Ability to interpret complex information and provide strategic solutions

  • Strong risk assessment, decision-making, and conflict resolution capabilities

  • Ability to lead initiatives related to industry innovation, processes, and technology

  • Demonstrated commitment to teamwork, respect, accountability, and results

Qualifications:

  • Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada

  • Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or 2-year certificate in a construction-related field

  • 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial, industrial, or institutional construction

  • Experience managing projects from startup to closeout with varying sizes and complexities

  • Knowledge of Lean methodology, collaborative planning, and continuous improvement

  • Experience with the Last Planner® System is an asset

  • Experience with Procore® or similar construction management platforms is an asset

  • Experience with Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) is an asset
