Adecco is currently hiring a full-time experienced Forklift Operator to join our client’s manufacturing team in Belleville, ON. This role requires at least 5 years of hands-on experience operating a counterbalance forklift and must holds a valid forklift license. This role involves safely moving, loading, and unloading materials while maintaining a clean, efficient, and safe working environment.

  • Pay rate: Afternoons: $21.10/ hour |Nights: $21.50/ hour

  • Location: Belleville, ON

  • Shifts: Continental 12hour rotating shifts- will include weekends

  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Operate a counterbalance forklift to load, unload, move, and stack materials safely.

  • Perform daily equipment inspections and report any issues or maintenance needs.

  • Ensure accurate handling, storage, and documentation of materials.

  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and work areas.

  • Assist with general warehouse duties as needed (material handling, inventory, order picking).

  • Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet productivity goals.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience operating a counterbalance forklift.

  • Valid forklift license/certification (counterbalance required).

  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards and material-handling best practices.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Good communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.

  • Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

  • Ability to work with RF scanners, inventory systems, or basic computer tools.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
