SUMMARY

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to lead national growth in the natural gas industry across Canada, and with a primary focus on regulated gas distribution and secondary emphasis on midstream and industrial markets. It’s a strategic position located in southern Ontario or out of Calgary, AB, and is focused on driving national growth, leading large project pursuits, and serving as a subject matter expert company wide. Beyond the immediate impact, this role offers strong visibility and a clear path for career growth, succession planning and greater organizational leadership. QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7-20+ years in the natural gas industry (distribution, midstream, or industrial)

  • Strong technical knowledge of gas measurement, gas quality, and analysis systems

  • Proven success in business development, technical sales, or major project pursuit

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills

  • Ability to collaborate with regional sales and inside sales teams

  • Willingness to travel nationally as required

  • Location: Preferred GTA or KWC Regions in Ontario or Calgary, AB (negotiable)


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive national growth for Measurement and Gas Quality/Analysis solutions

  • Develop and execute national account strategies; support regional sales teams

  • Lead pursuit of major capital projects, including strategy and proposal development

  • Build high-value relationships with utilities, midstream operators, industrial customers, and regulators

  • Represent the company at industry conferences and technical committees

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in industry settings

  • Provide technical guidance and market intelligence to internal teams
